Can you put food on resin products?

Unfortunately, not all epoxy resins are suitable for use with edibles.

The ResinPro line includes resins which are certified for safe contact with food, however, only while the food is cold! This is the type of resin that I use for the final sealing layer of my serving boards so that you can use them with confidence and pleasure for their intended purpose.

Also, remember that hot objects should not be placed on the resin (unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer of the particular resin). Resin, when heated, becomes soft, correspondingly, a trace of heat may remain on its surface.
